The Neat Iota is the tiny loudspeaker that thinks it’s a big loudspeaker! A truly incredible performance from such a small cabinet.

The IOTA incorporates the implementation of radical and unorthodox thinking in order to offer the same integrity and musical capability that distinguishes all Neat loudspeakers. It is especially suited to the current crop of all-in-one streaming systems, from which a very high level of sound quality can be attained, but space is usually at a premium.

This tiny loudspeaker is extremely flexible in terms of placement. It can be placed on shelves, sideboards, worktops or desktops (some form of isolation is recommended ). There are also dedicated stands available on request.

The mid bass driver is a 100mm polypropylene unit that is designed to offer a very long throw thanks to a large ferrite magnet and a specially designed suspension system. In design terms it shares some commonality with the unit used in the larger Motive range but is smaller than the ones used there. Where the IOTA really deviates from the Neat norm is the tweeter.

Neat generally uses dome tweeters (and indeed dome supertweeters in the flagship Ultimatum models) but the IOTA is fitted with a ribbon tweeter. This is a 50mm magnetic ribbon that Neat selected to offer the best performance from this relatively small cabinet.

The Iota can also be mounted on wall brackets if required. 6mm (M6) 60mm-spaced threaded holes are accessible on the rear panel to fit a range of widely available wall brackets, such as the B-Tech BT33 model.
