Luxsin X8
Luxsin X8 is a highly advanced headphone amplifier and DAC that uses clever software to adapt to the exact specifications of your earphones or headphones, it is beautifully built and sound superb!
The X8 features eight Cirrus Logic CS43198 DAC chips in a true dual-mono parallel architecture, with four DACs operating in parallel per channel. Left and right channels are fully independent in power supply, circuit layout, and signal path, minimising cross-talk and interference.
The parallel analogue outputs are precisely summed to reduce noise and improve dynamic range, signal-to-noise ratio, and low-level detail, resulting in stable imaging and clear spatial presentation.
A dedicated high-speed data buffering and distribution circuit ensures all DACs operate within the same reference clock domain, maintaining precise synchronisation and preventing timing mismatch.
DAC Dedicated Shielding
Each of the eight CS43198 DACs is equipped with a custom shielding cover, which isolates the DACs from digital circuitry and high-frequency interference
while assisting heat dissipation and thermal balance. This design reduces noise and jitter, ensuring stable and consistent performance during long-term,
high-resolution playback.
Digital Audio Core
The DigitalAudio Core in the X8 is a high-performance processing module deeply customised by Luxsin and the first of its kind to be applied in a professional audio product. Built on a dual-core HiFi-5 DSP and ARM STAR architecture, with large on-chip SRAM and a DSP operating at over 500 MHz, it delivers the computational headroom required for complex real-time audio processing and advanced tuning algorithms. Its scalable design also enables edge-level AI audio processing, equipping the X8 with strong digital audio capabilities and long-term potential for continuous feature expansion.
Variable Linear Power Supply
Adopts a fully separated linear power supply, with digital and analogue circuits independently powered. This design isolates noise coupling and interference between circuits from the source, significantly enhancing sonic purity, background darkness, and laying a stable, clean power foundation for overall sound quality. The system integrates multiple voltage and current monitoring sensors for real-time power supervision. It also supports an adjustable dual analogue voltage design (12V and 15V), further improving the flexibility and controllability of the power system.
Impedance Detection
The upgraded headphone impedance detection system now covers all output interfaces (XLR4,4.4mm, and 6.35mm) enabling precise impedance auto-detection and automatic matching of the optimal gain setting. Utilising Luxsin’s proprietary bypass detection technology, the system operates completely isolated from the main audio path, guaranteeing absolutely no impact on sound purity. Users enjoy both accurate impedance matching with smart gain adjustment and uncompromised high‑fidelity audio quality.
