IsoAcoustics zaZen is a cost-effective isolation platform designed for turntables, amplifiers, CD players and other audiophile components.
The IsoAcoustics zaZen I and II are isolation platforms designed to protect turntables, tube amps, and other sensitive audio equipment from interference caused by vibrations and resonances. Apparently, the name zaZen is taken from Zen Buddhism and refers to sitting in peaceful meditation – just in case you were wondering.
zaZen (sitting meditation) is a stable isolation platform designed for turntables, tube amps and other sensitive audio equipment. The combination of the platform mass and the integrated IsoAcoustics isolation technology allows audio gear to reveal greater acoustic clarity and detail. The zaZen is available in 2 sizes: zaZen I with a weight capacity of 25lbs (11.3kg) and the zaZen II with a weight capacity of 40lbs (18.1kg)

Excellent service there was a delay with the platform coming into the shop but I was kept informed at regular intervals which was great. The isolation platform is excellent there is a noticeable tightening of the bass from my turntable and the mid range has become a little more musical.

I had been considering use of a isolation platform for my Naim Uniti 2 for a while. The design and price of the zaZen met my requirements, backed up by numerous positive reviews. The unit was delivered within 2 days, with Audiologica following up with several reassuring emails after the order.
First impression is positive, the unit sits snugly on the platform, sonically music sounds tighter and voice radio more defined. Time will tell if this impression is real as I move through my music collection.

Used the isolation platform under a Roksan CD player – was very impressed with the difference the platform made – it removed an edginess that was always there with the CD playback – made it sound sweeter and increased the width of the soundstage.
