A sophisticated design: high-class lacquered and wooden veneered cabinets, which have a trapezoid shape and are angled rearward meet brushed aluminum. The design of Vela Series is eye-catching on the one hand but supportive of smooth sound replication on the other. The sound of Vela shows it´s direct connection to the highly successful 400 Series, but the new Vela Series offers even more: The new waveguide which minimizes baffle reflections, the specially shaped baffle itself and the angling of the cabinet – they all improve the defi nition of sound.
Together with drivers which have been optimised to reproduce high-energy transients more precisely the Vela Series comes prepared also for rooms with the latest interior design.

The convex shaped baffle and the big radiuses of the cabinet promote the acoustics because influences of cabinet to frequency response are reduced. Dual-flared port tubes minimize the ventilation noise during bass reproduction.
The bottom plate is made of aluminum and is featured with a down-fi ring bass
reflex port which gives advantages in positioning the speaker.
Vela Series offers connectivity which grants the possibility for bi-wiring and bi-amping. And to ensure an optimal electrical connection the terminals and bi-wiring bridges of Vela are gold-plated.
