However, the interface between the turntable and a modern sound system is as critical to the end result as any of these components.

The R20 accepts the output from both moving-magnet and moving-coil type cartridges. Gain and impedance can be adjusted to fine-tune the connection for maximum fidelity. The R20's output is configured to match the input characteristics of Primare amplifiers or other high-quality audio designs.
