The iScan VP50PRO converts standard definition, high definition and PC signals from your DVD player, HD-DVD player, Blu-ray Disc player, Sky HD, Game console, or PC to any output resolution up to 1080p.

The VP50PRO serves as the complete A/V hub, providing audio/video switching that simultaneously eliminates A/V lip-sync while allowing a single wire connection between all sources and high definition display.

Like the award-winning VP50, the VP50PRO features 10-bit Precision Deinterlacing™, 10-bit Precision Video Scaling™ up to 1080p, PReP™ (Progressive Reprocessing), Progressive Cadence Detection, and RightRate™ VRS technologies to maximize picture quality.

Marking their debut in the VP50PRO are no fewer than three new Anchor Bay VRS™ Video Reference Series technologies: Mosquito Noise Reduction, Fine Detail Enhancement and Edge Enhancement, which combine to greatly improve the quality of compressed and low resolution content coming from FreeView, DVRs, DVD, IPTV, and other digital media devices when viewed on high-resolution / high-definition displays.

With HDMI 1.3 compatibility the VP50PRO allows the user to connect HDMI 1.3 compliant devices, such as the PS3, with support for high-definition audio formats and Deep Color™.

Setting a new standard in performance for customers, the VP50PRO is the first video processor to achieve THX Video certification. THX certification signifies that a product has been designed and tested to meet a series of rigorous performance standards defined by audio and video industry pioneer THX to help customers to identify high-quality video products.

To allow seamless integration within any Home Theatre system, the VP50PRO offers discrete IR and RS232 operation while two programmable 12V triggers simplify control of projectors, lifts, screens and anamorphic lenses.

To ensure the highest level of image quality regardless of the ambient light within the room the VP50PRO offers ISF C3 certification, which gives ISF calibrators the proper controls to provide their customers with optimal settings for day time and night time viewing while maintaining picture accuracy.
